Delta Controls delivers specialized ball valve repair and refurbishment services for the European energy sector. We completed the overhaul of three Pibiviesse 36″ 900# ball valves operating in the NOGAT natural gas transmission network in the Netherlands.
After more than two decades of continuous operation in demanding conditions, the valves were fully refurbished and restored to as-new performance standards.
Scope of Work
Our refurbishment process included:
- Full disassembly, inspection, and dimensional verification
- Reconditioning of critical components using ENP (Electroless Nickel Plating)
- Replacement of worn or non-repairable parts with OEM-equivalent components
- Reassembly according to original manufacturer specifications
Testing & Compliance
All valves were tested to ensure compliance with international standards and operational safety:
- Hydrostatic testing at design pressure
- Torque testing at full differential pressure
- Verification in accordance with API 6D requirements
Coating & Protection
To ensure long-term durability in offshore and harsh environments, the valves were finished with a triple-layer offshore coating system, applied in line with client specifications and industry standards.
